Behind _J.L-A.L_ is British designer Jean-Luc Ambridge Lavelle, whose practice sits at the intersection of fashion, architecture, and industrial design. Since its inception, the brand has developed an approach rooted in the research of materials, processes, and structures, moving away from conventional aesthetics to focus on how garments and objects are truly constructed.
The _J.L-A.L_ universe is defined by a technical, almost experimental aesthetic, where form follows function rather than the other way around. In footwear, the Cell Geo 1 x _J.L-A.L_ stands out, available in the Midnight and Umbre colorways. These sneakers feature Puma CELL technology, recognizable for its visible structure that delivers cushioning and stability, here reworked with a more architectural perspective.
